Double click on a QCT file and the map will open within the Memory-Map for Mac application. Step 3 Copy DVD movies to USB Choose the DVD file and then hit the 'Open' button and then press the right mouse to copy the files. ![]() Make sure the USB should have enough space to store DVD files before you copy DVD movies to USB. Once you have copied the map files onto your Mac hard drive (note: we suggest that you create a dedicated folder for map files), launch Finder and navigate to where the files are stored. Connect USB to computer And then you can connect USB to your computer. Map files with QCT and QC3 extensions can be loaded directly off the supplied media (CD/DVD/USB) or alternatively can be copied from a PC where normally they will be found in C:\Maps or C:\Maps_V5. Demo periods of both these features are available within the Memory-Map for Mac application prior to purchase. Some older maps (such as those with a 16 digit alphanumeric serial number) will require you to activate a 'Classic Maps Compatibility' feature and maps imported from third party files will require an 'Import Maps' feature.
